Visit the house where a Hungarian prince died in exile

Süleymanpaşa · Tekirdağ · Türkiye

The Rákóczi Museum building is known as the prince’s dining house. Its old interior decorations were taken in 1906 to Košice, now in Slovakia; copies of the dining-room reliefs were later installed in Tekirdağ. As you explore, consider the decorations’ story across two cities. Look for distinctions between originals and copies in the exhibition labels, and photograph a permitted detail. Check current visiting arrangements beforehand.
