Look for different painters in one church at Gümüşler

At least three different masters are thought to have painted the rock-cut church at Gümüşler Monastery. Niğde’s provincial culture authority attributes the main apse paintings and the Virgin and Child near the entrance to different hands. From the open visitor area, compare faces and clothing outlines and note a detail you notice. Photograph the courtyard where photography is permitted.
