Ballıkayalar's narrow gorge is a karst valley shaped by dissolving limestone. The roughly two-kilometre valley varies in width between 40 and 80 metres. Pause on an open walking section to photograph the facing rock walls; note a detail that makes you think about water changing stone over time. This discovery does not require a canyon traverse or rock climbing.
