Walk the walls of Kerkenes

Kerkenes was a new city founded by newcomers from the west with Phrygian culture; its inscriptions are also Phrygian. Enclosed by roughly seven kilometres of defences, the city was destroyed by fire in the mid-sixth century BCE. On the permitted visitor route, find the Cappadocia Gate opening and its junction with the wall; photograph without climbing the stones.
