Walk through the Titus Tunnel (Samandağ)

Samandağ · Hatay · Türkiye

Titus Tunnel formed part of a system diverting a stream to protect Seleucia Pieria's harbour from flood-borne sediment. An inscription at the first tunnel entrance names Vespasianus and Titus. From the open, permitted visitor route, photograph the inscription or a rock-cut section of channel; record how redirecting water helped protect a harbour.
