Wait at the traffic light on the narrowest street
The lane down to the mill wheel is fifty centimetres wide, so two people cannot pass. Rather than argue about it they installed a pedestrian traffic light at each end. You press the button and wait for the other direction to clear. Photograph the light.
Cross Charles Bridge before the crowd
Thirty baroque statues line a bridge that carried the road between the two halves of the city for four hundred years before anything else did. By nine it is shoulder to shoulder; at first light it is empty and the mist sits on the river under it. Photograph the line of statues down the empty deck.
Read the astronomical clock properly
It is not really a clock. The big dial shows where the sun and the moon are sitting in the zodiac and keeps Old Bohemian time, which starts counting at sunset, so the numbers move through the year. The apostle parade on the hour lasts under a minute and disappoints everyone. Ignore it and photograph the dial.
